from architecture to accessories
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and studied architecture at UC Berkeley, but in 2005, I made a spontaneous move to New York City that set the course for my career. Over the years, I transitioned from architecture to industrial design, then to branding, before launching my own line of leather handbags, which led me into accessories design. I spent the next decade honing my skills in leather goods with brands like Coach and Jack Spade, and later–back on the West Coast–in sports lifestyle accessories with lululemon and Athleta.
As of August 2024, I am leveraging all of this experience to run a design consulting business servicing small to medium-sized brands. I am also proud to partner with SMOOTHLINK, a network of high-tech factories in Asia, to help bring my clients' ideas to life.
