ABOUT THE BRAND

AANDD (Adam and Davidson) offers reductivist interpretations of bags and small leather goods–pulling inspiration from designer Adam Davidson’s background in industrial design and architecture. The AANDD aesthetic is characterized by unconventional detailing and thoughtful custom hardware. With a focus on creating investment pieces, the curated line introduces a handful of new styles each season while updating existing staples with new colors and fabrications.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

AANDD is designed by Adam Davidson, a New York-based designer who credits his Northwest upbringing and varied experience in architecture, branding and industrial design as primary influences on his design approach. AANDD has been featured in press including Elle, InStyle, Refinery29 and T Magazine and is sold in a growing list of influential retailers domestically and internationally.

PRODUCTION

At AANDD we care deeply about the ethics of labor. We work with two family-owned workshops, one in New Jersey, USA and one in León, Mexico. Each facility treats their workforce with dignity and pays fair wages. 

We are proud to say that they also boast excellent retention rate of their workforce–vouching for their desirability as workplaces.

MATERIALS

AANDD uses high quality leathers and textiles for all production. Leathers are sourced exclusively from Europe; hailing from premium tanneries in Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. All tanneries abide by the stringent environmental standards set out by the EU for leather production. 

Our custom hardware is manufactured in small batches domestically in Rhode Island.
